There are a number of ways where you can serve at Calvary Chapel Lake City, and we want you to serve where you are filled. Serving should not drain you or be done out of obligation, but should be done with joy.

Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Serving Opportunities FAQ

How do I serve?

Pray how the Lord would have you serve Him. Then, have a conversation with one of our leaders about where you are feeling led to serve and we will guide you from there. 

How do I serve with kids?

Our Children's Ministry Director, Debbie Peterson, would love to talk with you about teaching or assisting in one of our kids classes. A background check and application is required to serve in this ministry.

How do I serve with music?

Our worship leader, Amanda Transparenti, would love to talk with you about helping on our worship team. You don't have to be a professional to worship on this team, but you must be a saved believer. 

How do I serve with students?

Our Youth Leaders, Jay and Jodi Nakasone, would love to talk with you about our Middle and High School Youth group. A background check and application is required to serve in this ministry.
